Computer Cookie

Basically, a computer cookie is a particular piece of data from a specific website that is sent and stored on a user’s computer while they are browsing the web.

The functions of the computer cookie are included: remember login information, track users browsing activity, count site visitors for website owners. Most of the time, Cookies is not a bad thing. For example, users do not need to go through the login procedure again as the cookie has already captured the information, relevant advertisements and information based on user's search history will be shown, benefitting the business of the website owner as accurate data is recorded.
